As a victim of bullying, which started in elementary school and lasted throughout high school, she has
shared her story of personal pain and triumph over bullying with over 90,000 school-aged children throughout the southeast. She was a rank panelist for CNN and was a featured guest on the Huckabee Show Fox News. She was also awarded the Miss America Community Service Award 2011, and previously the 2010 Miracle Maker Award for her fundraising supporting the Children's Miracle Network. In 2002, at age 15, Girl Talk Founder & Executive Director Haley Kilpatrick dreamed of a program that would help middle school girls deal with the pressures and anxieties of being a young teen. Inspired by her own middle school experience, her vision was high school girls mentoring middle school girls.
   Haley has been featured on NBC’s Today Show, NBC Nightly News, CNN, HLN and TBS. Haley was recently named one of Glamour Magazine’s “20 Young Women Changing the World Now,” as well as People Magazine’s “All-Stars Among Us.

In November of 2008 at 40 years of age, Eileen Tamblyn had entered the happiest years of her life. She had a loving husband, three children and was finally realizing her dream of becoming an actress having just gotten an agent. The year before she had run and completed the Disney marathon. Little did she know her life was about to change forever in a way she never thought conceivable. Her faith would be tested like never before. A small bump on her right leg would lead to amputation and six months in the hospital fighting for her life.
